Fall Fashion 2012 must haves.
As Summer comes to a close and Fall approaches, we find ourselves pack away the bikini's and grabbing our long pants and light jackets. But before you try on the hidous graphic sweater from the back of your closet, you must read the six must have clothing and accessories that will truly get you reconize when out and about.
1. (Faux) Leather
Be on the lookout for leather (or faux, depending on
your preference) pieces that takes advantage of bright and neutral colors that would make any biker fan jealous.
2. Military-Inspired
The military look is back with vengeances! Items like army jackets,
skinny cargo pants and lace-up boots are easy to wear, which any fashionista could easily pull-off.
3. Peplum
The peplum look might seem a little intimindating for some, but with a strong silhouette, this is one look you must try, (at least once). With cozy
peplum jackets, coats and items in darker, fall-appropriate colors, this look will be the hit of the season.
4. Geometric Prints
Caution! All prints and colors may not flatter all, but experimenting is the key. Always start small when dealing with patterns. Either have accessories with patterns or a top with geometric print with only two colors. To ensure safe pattern experimenting try prints with neutural tones. But if you are a wild child, try mix matching different prints together, but don't go over board!
5. Luxe Details
Ornate jewelry, brocade prints, intricate
beading and pieces made out of rich fabrics such as silk or velvet. This trend has made a big apprehension within the new season especially with young, college fashionistas. Don't go over the top. Pairing a brocade print top with jeans and a beading clutch purse would make a great impression and
fun night out on the town.
6. Classic Menswear
After all that time raiding your boyfriends side of the closet has now paid off. Menswear-inspired looks has become huge in the Fall 2012 season. Tailored coats, blazers and trousers are now becoming the "it" look, which is taking all fashionistas attention. Pairing a blazer with a straight-leg trousers with a beaded bracelet would give you the business menswear look, with a hint of femininity.
